We received this cheque from the Stansted Airport Passenger Community Fund today. This is money passengers drop into the spinners at the airport- usually foreign currency. We bid for money for musical instruments & received £1243. The order is already in! https://t.co/jD5uNkAk0z

Family Fun Day

Family Fun Day

Posted: 25th June 2018

The PTA of Magna Carta Primary Academy organised a family fun day to welcome the community into school on a Saturday.

A range of stalls enticed mums, dads and children to get involved with face-painting, a raffle, arts and crafts and games, as well as enjoying a BBQ.

The school is in just its second year and so far has pupils in Reception and Year 1.

Headteacher Marios Solomonides said: “It was lovely to see current pupils and those joining us from September coming together for a day of family fun.

“The PTA is amazing and organised this event brilliantly, making the most of the limited space we have at our temporary site. It has made me excited to see what is possible when we move into our new building.”
